How to Prepare for a Spa Relocation or Delivery: A Step-by-Step Guide

Moving a spa or swim spa isn’t as simple as moving regular furniture. With careful preparation, you can make sure the relocation or delivery runs smoothly and safely. Here’s what you need to do before our team arrives:

1. Clear the Access Path: Ensure there’s a clear, unobstructed path from the spa to the street or driveway. Remove garden furniture, bins, overhanging branches, and anything else that could be in the way.

2. Disconnect Services: Your spa must be fully disconnected from power, gas, and plumbing. If you’re unsure how to do this, it’s best to call a licensed electrician or plumber.

3. Drain the Spa: Completely drain the spa at least 24 hours before your scheduled pickup or delivery. This helps prevent water damage and reduces weight, making relocation safer.

4. Check for Site Challenges: Notify us ahead of time if there are stairs, steep slopes, narrow gates, or other challenges. This way, we can bring the right equipment or arrange for crane assistance if needed.

5. Protect Fragile Surfaces: If you’re concerned about surfaces like decking, pavers, or gardens, let us know. We can take precautions to minimise any impact during the move.

6. Secure Pets and Children: For everyone’s safety, please keep pets and children indoors during the relocation.

Final Tip: Communication is key. The more we know about the site and access, the better we can plan and deliver a safe, efficient service.
